Singapore-based decarbonisation platform Accacia has successfully concluded a pre-Series A funding round, raising US$6.5 million. The funding, led by Illuminate Financial, also saw participation from AC Ventures, with continued support from early investors Accel and B Capital.
Founded in 2022 by Annu Talreja alongside co-founders Piyush Chitkara and Jagmohan Garg, Accacia specializes in providing AI-enabled SAAS solutions tailored for the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors. Their platform equips real estate developers, asset managers, and financial institutions with essential metrics and strategies to drive decarbonization efforts efficiently.
Annu Talreja, CEO of Accacia, highlighted the significance of this funding in light of regulatory developments such as the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and Singapore Exchange (SGX) implementing carbon emissions reporting regulations. Accacia aims to leverage these funds to expand its operational capacities and further enhance its AI-driven solutions.
