The financing round was led by Anthemis, with participation from Sovereign’s Capital, Home Technology Ventures, Studio VC, Front Porch Ventures, Unpopular Ventures, Duke Capital Partners, and former Invitation Homes CEO, Fred Tuomi.
The funds will be used to support Acre Homes’ growth initiatives, including expansion within existing markets and its recent entry into Atlanta.
Founded in 2021, Acre Homes was established by a team of seasoned professionals: Mike Schneider (formerly of First and RE/MAX), Kent Keirsey (US Army, First, and Collective Health), Pete Crawford (US Army and McKinsey & Company), and Irene Tollinger (NASA and Collective Health). The company aims to simplify the home-buying process by offering a flexible, tech-enabled solution.
