Backbone, a pioneering solution provider based in Geneva, Switzerland, specializing in real estate imagery production and management, has recently announced its acquisition of IMOGENT GmbH, a fellow proptech firm established in 2018. IMOGENT shares Backbone’s commitment to digitalization and process automation within property marketing, offering a comprehensive platform that connects real estate professionals with various service providers, including drone pilots and 3D artists.
This strategic merger aims to redefine property sales and marketing practices in the DACH region, with a vision to equip every property professional with advanced tools for smoother, faster, and more efficient transactions. The combined entity will offer an expanded portfolio of over 10 products and services, including energy certificates and assessments.
Dorian de Vinck, Co-Founder and CEO of Backbone, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome IMOGENT’s team on board as we work towards revolutionizing property sales with unparalleled speed and efficiency. Our ambition is to establish ourselves as the preferred sales and marketing solution for over 5,000 real estate professionals in the DACH region by 2025.”
The acquisition was advised by the Osborne Clarke team, led by Dana Alpar and Maximilian Vocke, and included experts in corporate law, tax, labor law, intellectual property, and data protection.
