Brickeye, a construction technology company based in Toronto, Canada, has raised $10 million in a Series B funding round.
The round was led by GreenSky Ventures, Brightspark Ventures, and Graphite Ventures. Export Development Canada (EDC), Beauchamp Construction, and a North American material supplier also participated.
The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its product development efforts. Most importantly, the focus will remain on expanding its IoT-enabled software platform and AI-driven services. Besides that, Brickeye aims to grow its engineering and field operations teams.
In parallel, the company intends to scale its sales presence. Therefore, it will increase its footprint across North America and expand into international markets, including the Middle East, South America, and Europe.
Brickeye is led by CEO Tim Angus and operates as a construction IoT and risk mitigation services provider. The company develops a platform that offers real-time site monitoring, automated risk controls, and data-driven insights for construction stakeholders.
Because of its broad applicability, the platform is used by contractors, developers, owners, and insurers. At present, Brickeye serves customers across more than 20 countries.
