Introducing Ambassador for “Fractional Real Estate/Tokenization”: Colin Nimsz

Very excited to unveil our new ambassador on PropTechBuzz to the world for our category, Fractional Real Estate/Tokenization. In our previous article, we explained what the Ambassador program in PropTechBuzz is.

Colin pioneered the tokenization of real-estate and funds in Europe. Before that, he placed one of the first 10 crowdfunded real-estate projects in the US. He has been the Chief Strategy Officer and General Counsel for ScalingFunds, where he developed and executed multiple strategies taking the company from 0 to 4 Billion in contracted assets. His track record includes notable achievements such as:

• • First “tokenized” Irish S110 securitization vehicle (2022)
• • First real-estate tokenization in Germany (2019)
• • Data Controller (GDPR) standards established for tokenization and AIF portals (2019)
• • First video identification and eSignatures for AIFs in Luxembourg and Jersey (2018)
• • First risk based AML compliant ICO (Gibraltar, 2017-2018)
• • Spoke at numerous events, lobbied governments, worked with dozens of law firms and services providers, and created legal prototypes that have since become legal and industry standards.

Successfully identified industry pain points and applied these strategies to solve them. Effectively communicated and contracted deals to bring them through closing and onboarding.
