Leading venture capital firms and construction industry giants, including Cemex Ventures, Caterpillar, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group’s Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures, have joined forces to organize the most significant construction and cleantech startup competition to date.

This competition presents an invaluable opportunity for startups to connect with potential clients and partners, secure funding, pilot projects in global markets, and pitch their ideas to prominent industry investors and potential business collaborators.
Over the past seven years, the Construction Startup Competition has propelled nearly 3,000 startups into the spotlight, facilitating fundraising efforts and garnering industry recognition. With 36 winners named to date, these startups have collectively raised over $396 million in financing. Additionally, more than one-third of the winners have received investments from one or more of the competition hosts. Furthermore, three Contech acceleration programs leverage the competition as a qualified pipeline to select participants for their cohorts.
Gonzalo Galindo, Head of Cemex Ventures, remarked, “Each year, we receive numerous applications from Contech and Cleantech startups, many of which have gone on to achieve significant success in the industry, attracting hundreds of millions of dollars in investments, and expanding their commercial reach.”
The final Pitch Day, scheduled for November, will see three winners awarded cash prizes.
