Miami, FL-based Firmus, specializing in preconstruction AI design review and risk analysis, has secured undisclosed funding in its latest financing round.
Navitas Capital led the round, with participation from Heartland Ventures, PiLabs, and Unorthodox Ventures.
The infusion of capital will fuel Firmus’ expansion in AI-driven bid-ability and constructability review. The company aims to enhance its capabilities, integrate new systems, and deepen its market reach.
Under the leadership of CEO Shir Abecasis, Firmus offers an AI-powered platform for design review and risk analysis. Catering to general contractors, developers, and AEC stakeholders, Firmus enables early detection and mitigation of design issues. The platform, already embraced by construction firms across North America, utilizes AI tools to scrutinize construction documents, identifying issues like incomplete designs and scope gaps. With a cloud-based interface, users can upload PDF drawing sets and receive detailed reports via an interactive dashboard. Firmus also facilitates issue management, task delegation, and seamless collaboration.
