HUSWELL, a Belgian proptech management company, has finalized the acquisition of Grandes Villas de France, a luxury villa booking platform. The transaction, which concluded in 2023, was officially disclosed recently.
In a LinkedIn announcement, HUSWELL’s founder and CEO, Jean-Paul Godfroy, highlighted that this acquisition would facilitate the company’s expansion of its booking platform and services abroad. He expressed gratitude towards Saskia Kellens and Gerard Schouten, acknowledging their dedication and contribution to building Grandes Villas de France.
Established in 2019, HUSWELL specializes in supporting vacation rental, second home, and hotel owners in managing and optimizing their properties. Employing a data-driven approach, the company addresses challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, offering travelers alternative accommodation options. HUSWELL oversees the entire property management process, including guest check-in, 24/7 communication, cleaning, maintenance, and developing guest portals for reservation information.
Grandes Villas de France boasts a curated selection of over 200 villas in sought-after French destinations such as Provence, the Côte d’Azur, and the French Alps. The platform prides itself on meticulously selecting villas based on their architecture, charm, and quality, aiming to provide personalized experiences for families, groups, and couples.
