This investment, co-led by Keyframe Capital and A/O, underscores the increasing importance of data-driven solutions for decarbonisation within the real estate sector.
This funding round coincides with the appointment of Kate Henningsen as Infogrid’s new CEO. Henningsen, a highly respected figure in climate tech circles, brings a wealth of experience, having co-founded Arcadia, a successful energy data platform. “Infogrid’s growth aligns perfectly with a transformative moment for the built world,” remarked Henningsen.
She further emphasized, “Their technology not only future-proofs buildings but also offers a unique and market-leading solution. I’m excited to join Infogrid at this pivotal moment to empower real estate organizations in their journey to reduce carbon footprints. The latest funding round underscores the growing investor interest in companies addressing sustainability challenges within the real estate industry. “Infogrid’s technology is a game-changer, providing future-proofing capabilities to buildings unlike anything else in the market,” noted Ben Birnbaum, Partner at Keyframe Capital, one of the new investors.
Furthermore, Infogrid’s leadership team has been bolstered with the addition of four experienced board members, each bringing valuable expertise in venture capital, clean technology, and real estate.
