Investorflow has acquired London-based property tech company, Coyote Software, in a move that significantly bolsters its presence in the cloud software sector for real estate. The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.
Coyote Software’s cloud-based property CRM system is presently utilized by more than 50 commercial real estate firms across the UK and Europe, with many of these clients likely to continue under Investorflow’s ownership. The platform boasts a database of over 80,000 assets encompassing a total of 500 million square feet. Notable clients include Nuveen, Legal & General Investment Management, and Royal London Asset Management.
With this acquisition, Investorflow aims to broaden its reach to encompass fundraising, transaction, and asset management stakeholders. Additionally, it anticipates offering more detailed reporting capabilities to investors with an interest in real estate, all within a unified platform. This move follows Investorflow’s merger with Cloud Theory in April 2022, further fortifying its software offerings.
Real estate investment teams stand to benefit from Investorflow’s platform, which streamlines deal review and closure processes. Similarly, asset and property managers will gain access to tools for comparing and organizing real estate data, as well as managing portfolio performance and risk.
Todd Glasson, CEO of InvestorFlow, remarked, “Coyote was designed and built by real estate professionals. The addition of Coyote will expand InvestorFlow’s capabilities to drive collaboration among investment, asset, and property managers at scale, while yielding faster and deeper insights into performance and risk for LPs. This transaction immediately expands our footprint in EMEA and will accelerate our continued growth across all alternative asset classes globally.”
Oli Farago, CEO and Co-Founder of Coyote, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating, “Coyote is delighted to be joining InvestorFlow in its mission to power the alternatives industry. We embarked on this journey over a decade ago to transform the way real estate investment firms source opportunities, manage deals, and maximize asset performance. Alongside the broader InvestorFlow team, we can extend our capabilities into fundraising and investor relations. This will provide deeper and more granular reporting for clients that demand real-time transparency and insights as we expand this capability to new and emerging private asset types.”
