Lighthouse, a leading hospitality tech data firm (formerly OTA Insight) in Belgium, has recently completed the acquisition of Stardekk, a provider of channel management and distribution software tailored for holiday homes, BnBs, and independent hotels.
The acquisition signifies a strategic move aimed at empowering hospitality commercial teams with a unified platform to drive revenue growth. Stardekk, backed by European B2B software investor Fortino Capital since 2020, brings its expertise and product capabilities, including the Cubilis channel management solution, into the Lighthouse ecosystem.
The amalgamation of Lighthouse’s data insights and artificial intelligence (AI) with Stardekk’s distribution tool set promises to deliver unparalleled dynamic channel optimization for hosts and hoteliers. This combined offering streamlines real-time decision-making in a rapidly evolving market landscape, particularly benefiting independent hotels by providing advanced distribution tools and pricing insights for superior competitive performance.
This acquisition marks Lighthouse’s third significant expansion following a successful $80 million Series B funding round in November 2021. Previous acquisitions include Transparent, a Madrid-based vacation rental market intelligence company, and Kriya RevGEN, a hotel revenue intelligence platform.
