Navitrans, a logistics software solutions provider based in Kortrijk, Belgium, has successfully secured a majority investment from Firmament. The precise financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed. This strategic investment aims to bolster supply chain technology product development and facilitate targeted acquisitions.
Navitrans specializes in offering mission-critical transportation management software and warehouse management solutions for logistics service providers across Europe, with a primary focus on Belgium, the Netherlands, Denmark, and Switzerland. Their comprehensive suite of products addresses crucial aspects such as order collection, logistics planning, fleet monitoring, communication, reporting, integrated accounting solutions, tariff calculation, automated invoicing, and warehouse planning.
The current executive management team, headed by CEO Bart Beeckmans, will continue to lead the company. Valsoft Corporation, known for its expertise in acquiring and developing vertical market software businesses, will retain its role as a minority shareholder alongside Firmament.
As part of this significant development, supply chain thought leader Larry Cuddy will be joining Navitrans as a board member.
