PIESHIP Secures Pre-Seed Funding from SEEDRA Ventures, Nama Ventures, and Angel Investors

PIESHIP, a Saudi-based logistics solutions provider, has successfully concluded a pre-seed investment round with backing from SEEDRA Ventures, Nama Ventures, and angel investors.

Founded in 2023 by Nasser Alharthi, Musaed Al-Amri, and Mohammed Mohsen, PIESHIP specializes in warehouse management solutions, shipment delivery applications, and logistical technical services. The company distinguished itself by participating in the inaugural cohort of the National Technology Development Program’s MVPlab initiative, securing a place among the top 20 projects.

Nasser Alharthi, CEO of PIESHIP, emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing last-mile delivery experiences through innovative logistics solutions. By fostering practical communication tools with customers and fostering a competitive environment among delivery representatives, PIESHIP aims to expedite shipments while boosting operational efficiency for delivery companies.

Haitham Alforaih, co-founder and CEO of SEEDRA Ventures, underscored the significance of logistical services in the burgeoning e-commerce market. He expressed confidence in PIESHIP’s ability to deliver top-notch technical solutions to meet the evolving demands of logistics companies.

Mohammed Alzubi, founder and managing partner of Nama Ventures, highlighted the strength of PIESHIP’s founding team, comprising individuals with complementary skill sets. Ibrahim Niaz, CEO of the National Technology Development Program, reaffirmed the program’s commitment to nurturing a thriving ecosystem of technical entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia. With ambitious targets for job creation and GDP growth, the NTDP aims to catalyze the emergence of 1,000 Saudi technology companies over the next three years.
