Plume Network, a blockchain startup based in San Francisco, CA, has successfully raised $10 million in seed funding. The financing round was led by Haun Ventures, with contributions from Galaxy Ventures, Superscrypt, A Capital, SV Angel, Portal Ventures, Reciprocal Ventures, and others. Notable angel investors included Anthony Ramirez of Wormhole Labs, Calvin Liu of Eigenlayer, Zon of Initia, Andrew Kang of Mechanism, Jeff Feng and Jayendra Jog of Sei Network, Adam Lawrence of rwa.xyz, Austin King, and Tyler Tarsi of Omni.
The newly acquired funds will be allocated towards expanding Plume Network’s operations and enhancing its development efforts.
Under the leadership of CEO Chris Yin and Teddy Pornprinya, Plume Network offers a modular EVM Layer-2 blockchain designed to bring real-world assets (RWAs) on-chain. The platform integrates asset tokenization and compliance providers directly into the blockchain, streamlining the complex processes of RWA project deployment. Plume Network provides a comprehensive ecosystem for investors to diversify and invest in various RWAs, enhancing liquidity through its DeFi applications and facilitating access to high-quality buyers.
Plume Network has already attracted over 80 RWA projects during its testnet phase. These projects encompass a wide range of sectors, including collectibles, alternative assets, synthetics, luxury goods, real estate, and DeFi.
