In a strategic move aimed at expanding its technology suite, PropStream, a real estate data and lead generation platform under Stewart Information Services Corporation (NYSE: STC), has acquired BatchLeads and BatchDialer from BatchService. The deal enhances PropStream’s offerings while allowing BatchData, the parent platform of the acquired products, to sharpen its focus on its core data infrastructure.
The acquisition of BatchLeads and BatchDialer adds new capabilities and a wider user base to PropStream’s platform. Both tools are widely used within the real estate sector for lead generation and outreach. While they will continue operating independently for the time being, teams from the acquired products will integrate with PropStream to accelerate technology development.
PropStream CEO Brian Tepfer noted that the acquisition enhances customer experience across the entire sales pipeline—from search to communication—by combining the strengths of both platforms. “BatchLeads has built a strong product and community. With the addition of BatchDialer and deeper collaboration with BatchData, we’re now positioned to deliver a more comprehensive toolset for real estate professionals,” he said.
Following the transaction, BatchData—which remains an independent entity—will dedicate all resources to expanding its B2B real estate data API platform. The company plans to consolidate its BatchSkipTracing brand into the BatchData platform, creating a more streamlined and integrated experience.
Co-founder Jesse Burrell described the transition as a “pivotal moment” for BatchData. “We can now put our full energy into making BatchData a central force in powering proptech innovation,” he said. “As PropStream becomes one of our largest customers, it validates the strength of our platform and positions us for accelerated growth.”
BatchData’s platform offers access to over 1,000 data points across 150 million U.S. properties, supported by proprietary machine learning models and real-time user feedback. The company is targeting underserved segments within the real estate industry, where tech adoption has been comparatively slow.
According to Burrell, the long-term vision for BatchData involves further refining its API offerings and expanding data enrichment capabilities. “Our focus is not just delivering data, but delivering actionable intelligence. With an industry as dynamic as real estate, adaptability and precision are essential,” he added.
The acquisition and reorganization signal a broader shift in the proptech space, as companies double down on data-driven strategies and AI-powered tools. With the upcoming year likely to bring more consolidation and innovation, both PropStream and BatchData appear positioned to play key roles in the evolving real estate data ecosystem.
