Wify, a company specializing in home furnishing installation, has raised Rs 25 crore (approximately USD 3 million) in a pre-Series-A funding round. The funding was led by Mount Judi Ventures and Capria Ventures, with participation from Blume Founders Fund and other undisclosed investors.
Previously, the Mumbai-based startup secured USD 2 million in a seed round in July 2022.
According to Wify’s press release, the new funds will be allocated to expanding services, entering new categories, and enhancing technology.
Founded in 2019 by Vikram Sharma and Deepanshu Goyal, Wify links modern home brands with skilled technicians through its SaaS platform. This platform facilitates order management, project management, and real-time tracking for both brands and consumers.
Wify plans to implement generative AI for training and onboarding technicians and to improve customer service. The company’s training and apprenticeship engine ensures a pool of skilled technicians is available for service requests.
With over 3,000 technicians on its platform, Wify operates in 100 cities across India and collaborates with over 100 local and global brands, including IKEA, Amazon, Godrej, and Hettich.
In the B2C market, Wify competes with Urban Company, while in the B2B sector, it faces competition from regional players such as Mechanic2Home and Easyfix.
