Barcelona-based construction technology firm 011h has secured €20 million in fresh funding. The round was led by Ship2B Ventures and CDTI (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico y la Innovación), with continued participation from existing investors Seaya Ventures, Breega Venture II, and Sicar. Industry entrepreneurs Alex Valls (Social Point, Exoticca), José Ojeda (GFG, Lyst), and Juan Velayos (formerly of Renta Corporación and Neinor Homes) also joined the round.

This funding marks the company’s final planned round before shifting toward expanding its recurring revenue model. Founded in 2020 by Lucas Carné, José Manuel Villanueva, Josep Barberá, and Carlos Llibre, the company is working to redesign how buildings are planned and delivered through a digital-first, sustainable, and industrialised construction model.

A new approach to sustainable building

011h focuses on creating modular buildings made from sustainable materials such as engineered wood, light metal structures, and prefabricated concrete. Its proprietary platform integrates design, production, and construction workflows within one digital ecosystem. This approach helps reduce waste, emissions, and construction time, while improving cost transparency and supply chain coordination.

Expanding footprint and pipeline

Currently, 011h has housing developments worth €50 million under construction across Spain. The company collaborates with developers including AEDAS Homes, Culmia, and Renta Corporación, and has already secured commitments for €100 million in projects planned for 2026.

“Traditional construction remains one of the world’s most inefficient industries,” said co-founder Lucas Carné. “Our mission is to prove that building can be faster, cleaner, and more sustainable by integrating technology, modularity, and digital design. This latest funding round brings us closer to scaling that vision.”

Projects underway across Spain

011h’s portfolio includes completed projects such as Habitat Hospitalet (Barcelona), Fioresta (Alicante), and Casernes (Barcelona). New developments like Distrito Z (Málaga) and Mar de Calonge (Girona) are in progress, with plans to deliver over 600 new homes by 2027.

Investor outlook

Robin Weninger, Partner at Ship2B Ventures, noted: “011h represents the future of sustainable construction — one that merges environmental responsibility with digital efficiency. We are proud to support a company that is redefining how cities are built for future generations.”

With its integrated, low-carbon construction model, 011h is positioning itself among Europe’s leading players in sustainable real estate and industrialised building technologies.
