Auxxo, a Germany-based venture capital firm focused on female-founded startups, has announced the first close of its second fund — the Female Catalyst Fund II — at €26 million. The fund is backed by the European Investment Fund (EIF) as its anchor investor.
The EIF’s participation signals continued institutional interest in increasing gender diversity in venture capital. Auxxo aims to improve representation by investing in early-stage startups co-founded by women.
More than half of the fund’s limited partners are women, underlining Auxxo’s commitment to reshaping the venture landscape by enabling more women to participate both as founders and funders.
Female Catalyst Fund II targets Pre-Seed and Seed-stage companies across Europe. The firm follows a thesis-driven approach, backing high-potential ventures led by female co-founders, and supporting them with a collaborative network and hands-on guidance.
The new fund has already made three investments:
Emidat – Co-founded by Lisa Oberaigner and Florian Fesch, Emidat offers environmental data solutions for the construction sector.
Resolutiion – Founded by Dr Fayola-Maria Jack, Resolutiion is applying AI to streamline commercial dispute resolution.
Stanhope AI – Founded by Rosalyn Moran, Stanhope AI is developing neuroscience-driven machine learning systems for real-time autonomous learning.
Auxxo’s previous investments include real estate platform Einwert, green chemistry startup Dude Chem, and Biovox, which develops medical-grade bioplastics.
