BidScript, a UK-based startup developing AI-powered tender management software, has raised $800,000 in a new pre-seed funding round. The latest investment brings the company's total pre-seed funding to more than $1 million.
The round includes follow-on funding from NPIF II – PXN Equity Finance, managed by PXN Ventures through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II (NPIF II). In addition, SFC Capital joined the round as a new investor.
BidScript plans to use the fresh capital to strengthen its team, expand its product capabilities, and enter additional markets in the UK and overseas.
The company aims to improve its AI platform while supporting business growth across multiple regions. Furthermore, the investment is expected to help accelerate product development and customer acquisition.
Founded by Henry Brogan and Tyler McCarthy, BidScript offers an AI-native platform designed to simplify the tendering process. The software helps businesses discover relevant contract opportunities, assess eligibility, prepare proposals, and manage bid submissions from a single platform.
The solution serves both public and private sector procurement. It primarily targets businesses operating in construction and engineering, information technology, and education.
According to the company, customers across the UK, the US, and the Middle East have reported improved tender performance after adopting the platform. BidScript says some early users have increased their bid success rates by as much as 50%.
As demand for AI-powered business software continues to grow, the company plans to expand its presence while enhancing its platform for organisations competing in complex tendering processes.
