Houston, Texas: Buildforce, a technology-driven staffing platform serving the electrical construction industry, has raised $10 million in Series A funding to support its expansion across the United States.

The funding round was led by Saepio Capital. Existing investors, including Blue Heron Capital, Revolution's Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, S3 Ventures, and Chicago Ventures, also participated.

Funding to Support Expansion and Product Development

Buildforce plans to use the new capital to accelerate its nationwide growth. In addition, the company will invest in improving its technology platform for electricians and electrical contractors.

The platform aims to simplify workforce management while helping contractors find qualified trade professionals more efficiently. At the same time, electricians can use the platform to discover job opportunities through a mobile application.

Digital Platform for the Electrical Construction Industry

Led by CEO Moody Heard, Buildforce operates a technology-enabled marketplace focused on commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.

Its mobile application allows electricians to search for work, manage assignments, and connect with contractors. Meanwhile, the web-based platform helps contractors recruit, schedule, and manage skilled electrical workers.

Growing Presence Across the U.S.

Buildforce currently serves the U.S. electrical construction market. According to the company, its platform has recorded more than 2 million work hours across over 2,000 commercial construction projects.

The latest funding is expected to strengthen Buildforce's technology and support its continued expansion into additional markets.
