Tel Aviv-based construction technology company Buildots has raised $130 million in a funding round led by O.G. Venture Partners, as it looks to expand its AI-powered construction intelligence platform across the global construction industry.

The round includes participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Mohari Ventures, Human Capital, Qumra Capital, Avigdor Willenz, Viola Growth, and Poalim Equity. The latest financing brings Buildots' total capital raised to $297 million.

The company says it has maintained a threefold annual revenue growth streak, reflecting increasing demand for AI-driven visibility across large and complex construction projects.

AI as a control tower for construction

Global construction represents an estimated $16 trillion industry, while massive investments in AI data centres, advanced manufacturing, energy infrastructure, and defence are creating demand for faster and more predictable project delivery.

Buildots aims to provide the intelligence layer behind these projects.

Its AI platform combines construction schedules, 3D models, and site imagery to create a continuously updated picture of project progress. Computer vision models analyse video captured from construction sites and classify hundreds of types of work.

The result is designed to replace fragmented progress reports, manual inspections, and subjective assessments with objective, continuously updated construction data.

100+ major construction companies already using Buildots

Buildots says its technology is now deployed by more than 100 large-scale firms, including owners such as Intel and Digital Realty, hyperscalers, and major contractors including STO Building Group, JE Dunn, Mortenson, Bouygues, and HOCHTIEF.

The company is increasingly securing large, multi-year agreements covering entire construction portfolios rather than individual projects.

For large projects, even relatively small improvements in schedule performance can translate into substantial financial benefits. Earlier identification of delays gives teams more time to intervene, while better progress data can improve how labour and capital are deployed.

Built from real construction data

One of Buildots' key advantages is its construction-specific dataset.

The company says its AI has been developed using eight years of data from real construction sites, rather than relying solely on general-purpose AI models or internet-scraped information.

Its computer vision technology effectively creates a digital representation of construction progress, allowing project teams to compare what was planned with what is actually happening on site.

This creates a feedback loop between the physical construction environment and digital project models.

Scaling across the construction lifecycle

Buildots plans to expand in three major directions.

First, it wants to reach more large construction portfolios across North America and EMEA. Second, it plans to move deeper into the construction lifecycle, from bidding through handover. Third, it aims to provide higher-level business intelligence that allows executives to manage entire portfolios using objective operational data.

The company is positioning its technology as infrastructure that could become as fundamental to construction companies as financial and procurement systems.

Backed by construction and physical-AI investors

The latest round adds Human Capital and Mohari Ventures as new investors.

Human Capital has backed companies working at the intersection of AI and the physical world, while Buildots' existing investors include TLV Partners, Future Energy Ventures, Maor Investments, and Tidhar.

O.G. Venture Partners led the round, with Managing Partner Ziv Kop describing Buildots as a foundational technology layer for construction.

CEO and co-founder Roy Danon, alongside co-founders Yakir Sudry and Aviv Leibovici, will use the new capital to expand Buildots' reach and deepen its technology.

As construction becomes increasingly complex and project timelines become tighter, Buildots is betting that the companies able to measure reality most accurately will have a significant advantage in delivering projects on schedule.
