Infra automation startup Enlite has secured INR 46 crore (~$5 million) in a funding round led by Avaana Capital, with participation from Claypond Capital and the family office of Manipal Group Chairman Ranjan Pai.

Focus on International Expansion and Product Enhancements

Founded in 2017 by Gaurav Bali and Garima Bharadwaj, Enlite plans to use the capital to support international expansion into West Asia and Southeast Asia. The funds will also go toward strengthening the company’s AI capabilities and real-time data analytics.

The company aims to deepen its presence in critical infrastructure segments such as airports, data centers, hospitality, and public buildings. Additional investments will be directed toward growing its sales and support teams for both government and enterprise clients.

Scalable Platform with AI-Driven Capabilities

Enlite offers a modular, cloud-based building automation system that replaces legacy infrastructure with wireless devices and AI-enabled edge computing. Its system is designed to optimize building operations based on occupancy, external conditions, and location-specific factors.

“The platform hosts thousands of algorithms to control various building systems depending on real-time inputs,” said Garima Bharadwaj, Co-founder of Enlite.

Enlite’s technology currently spans over 70 commercial properties, managing more than 25 million square feet. Its clients include real estate groups such as Prestige, hospitality brands like Fairmont Mumbai, hospital chains, and projects in the Gulf region.

Growing Market Reach Across India

Enlite has seen increased adoption across emerging locations in India. “We’ve onboarded sites from remote towns in Kerala to popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh,” Bharadwaj added.

CEO Gaurav Bali highlighted India’s infrastructure momentum: “India is undergoing rapid infrastructure development and presents a strong opportunity for our platform.”

Investor Perspective

Swapna Gupta, Partner at Avaana Capital, said, “Enlite is bringing deep tech into infrastructure management. Their combination of hardware and software delivers scalable, intelligent solutions across industries and regions.”

Future Roadmap

The company has filed three global patent applications and is piloting a proprietary large language model (LLM) tailored to its hardware. Enlite reported a 10x revenue growth in FY 2024–25 and aims to quadruple its revenue in the current fiscal year.
