Berlin-based renovation tech startup Enter has secured €20 million in Series B funding to expand its AI-powered energy efficiency platform across Europe. The new funding round increases its total raised capital to €40 million since its inception.
Investors from earlier rounds — Coatue, Target Global, noa (formerly A/O Proptech), Partech, and Foundamental — participated again, with SE Ventures, the corporate venture arm of Schneider Electric, joining as a new backer.
More than 180 million buildings in Europe require significant energy efficiency upgrades by 2050. This demand is driven by climate regulations, rising energy prices, and infrastructure aging. The addressable market spans into the trillions, as public and private sectors push toward climate-neutral housing.
Enter’s platform aims to simplify the renovation process. Using its proprietary app, users can scan a property digitally in minutes, generating insights into materials, energy performance, and necessary upgrades. A built-in AI engine then creates a personalized renovation plan — factoring in carbon pricing, local energy costs, subsidies, and climate goals.
The platform connects homeowners with a network of over 100 qualified contractors. It replaces what was traditionally days of assessment and planning with a process completed in minutes. According to the company, this has led to:
In the second quarter of 2025 alone, more than 30,000 buildings were assessed through the Enter platform, with reports generated automatically and in compliance with subsidy requirements.
Enter is now expanding its reach across Germany and preparing for a broader European rollout. Its technology focuses on retrofitting existing residential buildings, which represent one of the biggest levers in reducing emissions.
CEO and co-founder Max Schroeren noted that the platform is evolving beyond a consulting service. “We’re building digital infrastructure for climate-neutral living. Our AI enables thousands of renovations to happen in parallel, allowing more households to take action,” he said.
The Series B funding is expected to support Enter’s mission as it scales into new markets and invests further in its product capabilities.
