Bengaluru-based building materials quick commerce startup Fixxly has raised $5.5 million in a seed funding round led by Accel, with participation from Fireside Ventures and Lightspeed India Partners.

The company plans to use the new funding to strengthen its technology platform and expand its operational capabilities. In addition, it is preparing for its commercial launch on September 1.

Initially, Fixxly will operate in Bengaluru. Later, the startup plans to expand its services to other cities across India.

AI-Powered Platform for Building Material Deliveries

Founded in 2026 by Shezan Bhojani and Sachith Varma, Fixxly is developing an AI-powered quick commerce platform focused on building materials.

The platform allows contractors, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, interior designers, and homeowners to order construction and renovation supplies. Its catalog includes plywood, paint, lighting products, electrical equipment, hardware, and plumbing materials.

According to the company, deliveries can be completed in as little as 30 minutes.

Supply Network Built Around Local Dark Stores

Fixxly's fulfillment network uses artificial intelligence to process and route orders.

The system matches customer demand with nearby inventory available across a network of local dark stores. As a result, the platform aims to improve order fulfillment by considering product availability, customer location, and real-time demand.

Founders Bring Experience in Home Interiors and Supply Chain

Before launching Fixxly, co-founder Shezan Bhojani co-founded home interiors company DesignCafe. The company later merged with HomeLane in 2024.

Meanwhile, co-founder Sachith Varma previously led supply chain design at Zepto. He also managed last-mile operations at Flipkart before starting Fixxly.
