Infravision has secured $91 million in Series B funding led by GIC, with participation from Activate Capital, Hitachi Ventures, and existing investor Energy Impact Partners. The funding will accelerate the deployment of the company’s TX System, which integrates drones, ground equipment, and stringing hardware for high-voltage transmission line projects worldwide.
The TX System represents Infravision’s approach to modernizing how transmission lines are installed. It combines aerial robotics with intelligent hardware to deliver power line stringing that is faster, safer, and more cost-efficient than traditional ground or helicopter-based methods.
The system has already been deployed across large-scale projects globally. In its current form, it transforms a standard truck-based fleet into a high-performance platform capable of matching helicopter-level efficiency. Designed for demanding field conditions, the solution helps reduce power outages, improve emergency response, and minimize community disruption.
“Infravision’s aerial robotics system has been proven on some of the largest and most complex power line projects in the world, including Powerlink Genex in Australia and emergency response deployments with PG&E in California,” said Cameron Van Der Berg, CEO of Infravision. “This investment will help us scale to provide a faster, safer, and more cost-effective way to meet surging electricity demand as the world races to double grid infrastructure by 2040.”
The company’s technology aims to support the growing demand for grid expansion amid the global energy transition. “Reliable, modern transmission infrastructure is foundational to the global energy transition,” said Swap Shah, Partner at Energy Impact Partners. “Infravision is solving one of the toughest challenges in that equation — how to scale grid buildout safely, affordably, and at the pace required to meet electrification, AI, and industrial growth. We’re proud to continue supporting the team as they expand in North America and beyond.”
With this latest round, Infravision plans to accelerate commercial adoption of its TX System across multiple regions, supporting utilities and developers as they address rising electricity needs and grid resilience goals.
