London-based InStep AI has secured £900,000 in a pre-seed funding round to support its early growth and product development.
The funding round was led by Fuel Ventures. In addition, several angel investors also participated.
Fuel Ventures is a UK-based venture capital firm that focuses on early-stage technology startups. Since 2014, the firm has backed over 210 companies and invested more than £246 million. It typically supports founders working on scalable and high-growth business models.
InStep AI plans to use the fresh capital to expand its market presence.
Specifically, the company will focus on increasing sales, rolling out its product across the UK, and strengthening partnerships with estate agencies. Moreover, it aims to enhance its automation features and scale ongoing pilot programmes.
InStep AI was founded by Reid Cockrell and Patrick Littlemore. The company develops AI tools tailored for the real estate sector.
Its core product, Ella, is a conversational AI assistant designed for estate agents. It helps manage property-related enquiries across multiple channels, including voice, chat, and messaging platforms.
Furthermore, the platform can qualify leads, schedule property viewings, and handle routine administrative tasks. As a result, agencies can streamline operations and respond to customers more efficiently.
