Deere & Company has entered into an agreement to acquire Tenna, a US-based construction technology company focused on mixed-fleet equipment operations and asset tracking.
The acquisition aligns with Deere’s broader push to expand its digital capabilities for construction customers. It also reflects growing demand for data-driven tools that improve jobsite efficiency and equipment management.
Founded in New Hope, Pennsylvania, Tenna provides a cloud-based platform designed to support construction equipment workflows. According to a Deere release, the software helps contractors monitor equipment usage, track maintenance needs, and analyze operational trends.
As a result, contractors gain near real-time visibility into their fleets. This visibility can improve planning and coordination. It may also help reduce downtime and operating costs across jobsites.
Following the transaction, Tenna will continue to operate as an independent business under its existing brand. The platform will be marketed directly to construction customers.
At the same time, the company will focus on scaling its mixed-fleet business model. The emphasis will remain on customer-specific needs rather than equipment tied to a single manufacturer.
Tenna is currently held by The Conti Group, a private investment firm with experience in construction, engineering, and technology-focused investments.
Deere expects the acquisition to close in February 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.
