
Mave, an AI-driven real estate software company, has raised $5 million in seed funding as it scales its platform for realtors and brokerages. The round was led by Staircase Ventures, with participation from existing investors Relay Ventures, N49P, and Alate Partners.
The funding coincides with the launch of Mave’s new AI platform. Most importantly, the capital will support engineering expansion and product development. The company aims to help brokerage owners manage operations and branding through a single system.
As part of the investment, Janet Bannister, Founder and Managing Partner at Staircase Ventures, will join Mave’s board. In addition, the company is bringing on several industry advisors. These include Natalka Falcolmer, Chief Real Estate Officer at Houseful; Rhoda Rahaii, former Vice President of Strategy and Operations at Compass; Karen Yolevski, CEO of Carson Dunlop; Richard Silver, Senior Vice President at Sotheby’s International Realty Canada and former President of TRREB; and Robbie Goldfarb, former Product Leader for Meta AI.
Alongside the funding, Mave has entered into a partnership with myAbode. The collaboration will integrate Mave’s platform with myAbode’s agent and brokerage services network, which includes more than 10,000 realtors across Canada.
Demand for the platform has grown steadily. Currently, more than 70% of brokers on Mave use the product weekly. The company is onboarding 8,500 realtors and working with several large Ontario brokerages, including Forest Hill Real Estate, PSR, Right at Home Realty, and multiple RE/MAX franchise groups. Another 10,000 agents and 100 brokerages remain on the waitlist.
Mave plans to expand its workforce to 25 employees by the end of the year. It also intends to broaden its footprint across North America.

The platform is designed in collaboration with realtors and brokerages. It uses MLS data to create workflows that align with individual brands while remaining compliant with brokerage and board requirements. As a result, the system can detect new listings or key market moments and automatically generate brand-aligned campaigns. This reduces the need for agents to manually track updates such as pricing changes.
