Residential community management platform Mygate has secured Rs 225 crore (approximately $24 million) in funding from growth-stage investment firm Dharana Capital.
The Bengaluru-based company said it will use the capital to strengthen its product offerings and expand its presence across gated residential communities in India. Mygate aims to increase its reach to 10 million homes in the coming years.
Founded in 2016, Mygate develops software for gated communities. Its platform supports visitor management, security operations, resident communication, financial management, amenity bookings, and local commerce services.
According to the company, its solutions are currently used across more than 27,000 residential communities, serving approximately 5.7 million homes.
The investment marks Dharana Capital's latest move in India's proptech and consumer technology sectors. The firm's portfolio includes companies such as Urban Company, Vyapar, Zopper, Lentra, Itilite, Petpooja, Temple, LAT Aerospace, and Beyond Appliances.
Mygate said the fresh funding will support product development and market expansion as demand for technology-enabled community management continues to grow.
The company previously raised Rs 100 crore in November 2022 through a strategic investment from Urban Company and insurance platform Acko.
Commenting on the investment, Dharana Capital Founder and Managing Partner Vamsi Duvvuri said the increasing adoption of gated communities across urban India is creating demand for digital platforms that support community operations and resident services.
Mygate Co-founder and CEO Abhishek Kumar said the company has achieved more than threefold revenue growth over the past three years while reaching profitability.
For the financial year ended March 2025, Mygate reported revenue of Rs 186.6 crore and a net loss of Rs 15.4 crore.
According to Kumar, revenue increased to approximately Rs 246 crore in FY26, and the company became profitable during the year.
