
ONESTRUCTION, a Japan-based construction technology startup, has secured ¥910 million in funding through a mix of equity and debt financing.
The funding round included participation from Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Capital, Regional, People and Future Co., Ltd., Chugin Capital Partners, and Albacross Co., Ltd. Debt financing was provided by Japan Finance Corporation, San-in Godo Bank, Ltd., and Tottori Bank, Ltd.
The company said it plans to use the capital to strengthen the development of its AI-driven construction technology products. These include Contex, OpenAEC, and Ishigaki.
In addition, ONESTRUCTION plans to expand its engineering and business teams. The company will also invest in construction-focused research and development activities. Besides that, it aims to expand into overseas markets and build partnerships with global companies.
Founded in 2020, ONESTRUCTION develops openBIM-based software and AI tools for the construction industry. The company focuses on improving digital workflows and supporting AI adoption across construction operations.
Its product portfolio includes OpenAEC, a BIM data quality management platform, and Ishigaki, an AI model designed for construction-related applications. The company is also developing Contex, a platform intended to organize and manage construction data.
