PropTech startup Powerhouse, a Salesforce-native platform built for co-living, student housing, and senior living operators, has raised €750,000 in seed funding to support its European expansion and integrate AI-driven features across its suite of real estate management tools.
The funding round was led by Aconterra, a venture capital fund focused on PropTech and smart living, alongside several business angels from the European real estate and technology sectors.
As real estate portfolios shift toward service-oriented and mixed-use models, Powerhouse helps operators streamline administration, automate payments, and improve resident experience. The platform aims to bring the operational efficiency of hospitality to branded living spaces.
“Real estate is shifting from bricks to brands, where service and experience define value,” said Floris Lauwerier, Co-Founder and CEO of Powerhouse.
“Built on Salesforce, our platform makes that experience scalable for operators across Europe.”
Originally created as a billing solution for senior residences, Powerhouse has grown into a comprehensive operating system for shared living environments. Today, it manages over 10,000 units across Europe, with plans to scale beyond 100,000 units in the coming years.
The platform serves operators in co-living, student housing, and senior residences, addressing the growing demand for a unified system to manage operations, community engagement, and financial workflows.
With the new capital, Powerhouse is launching a white-label tenant app that consolidates the resident experience — including building access, rent payments, maintenance requests, and community communication — within a single interface.
The company is also deploying AI-driven automation to enhance workflow digitization, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall operational efficiency.
Currently, more than 3,000 students actively use Powerhouse’s technology.
