UK property technology company Reapit has secured more than £20 million in investment from Accel-KKR to accelerate innovation across its estate agency platform, consumer technology and artificial intelligence capabilities.

The investment comes alongside Reapit's existing research and development spending, taking the company's total annual investment in innovation to more than £40 million. The company says this makes it one of the largest investors in estate agency technology innovation.

Strengthening the estate agency technology platform

Reapit provides technology that gives estate agencies a unified view of customer relationships, transactions and interactions. Its platform is designed to support agencies across their day-to-day operations while helping them manage and grow customer relationships.

The company's consumer technology strategy is also expanding through Reapit Home. The product extends the agency's relationship with customers beyond the traditional property transaction and acts as a digital front door for consumers.

By capturing customer behaviours and signals, Reapit aims to help agencies identify future customer needs and build longer-term relationships rather than relying solely on individual property transactions.

Investment focused on AI and innovation

The new funding will support further development across Reapit's platform, consumer technology and AI capabilities.

Reapit CEO Mark Armstrong said the investment reflects the continued confidence of both its customers and Accel-KKR, highlighting the company's more than 25-year relationship with the estate agency sector.

Chief Product Officer Matt McGown said the company intends to put more than £40 million a year behind innovation, with the goal of helping its agency customers remain competitive as the industry evolves.

Building the future of estate agency technology

The investment comes as AI and data increasingly reshape property and estate agency operations. Reapit believes the strongest technology platforms will be those that combine customer relationships, consumer engagement and intelligence rather than treating AI as a standalone feature.

Accel-KKR Managing Director Park Durrett similarly highlighted the importance of strong technology foundations and the ability to innovate quickly in the AI era.

With more than £40 million being directed toward innovation annually, Reapit is positioning its platform to play a larger role in the future of digital estate agency and property technology.
