SiteVue AI, an industrial technology company focused on AI-powered video analysis, has raised $7.5 million in seed funding. Penny Jar Capital and Overture co-led the round.
Silence, Spring Bank, Mana Ventures, Outset Capital, WaterStone, and Untapped Ventures also participated.
The Nashville-based company plans to use the funding to expand its AI vision technology across manufacturing, food processing, construction, and other industrial sectors.
SiteVue AI combines cameras, software, and custom-trained AI models to analyze industrial operations in real time.
The system monitors production lines and identifies issues such as product defects, process bottlenecks, cycle times, machine problems, and labor movement. It can also track mispacks, mislabels, near-misses, workplace injuries, and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
The company presents the collected data through a customized dashboard. Customers can also use real production data to run simulations and assess possible operational changes.
According to the company, its subscription-based system can be installed within days. It does not require major infrastructure changes or significant disruption to existing workflows.
Manufacturing facilities often operate at high speeds. As a result, workers may have limited time to identify defects or safety risks as products move through a production line.
SiteVue AI uses cameras to continuously observe products, processes, and workers. The system can then flag issues as they occur.
"Our combination of hardware, software, and AI models provide real-time analysis on the line, all the time," said Andrew Jebasingh, founder and CEO of SiteVue AI.
He added that the system can alert workers or supervisors when it detects an issue. In some cases, it can also trigger a production-line stoppage.
The company positions this approach as a way to reduce waste, operational costs, and carbon emissions.
SiteVue AI says customers have reported measurable improvements after deploying its technology.
According to the company, facilities typically see more than a 3% increase in profit margins within three months. Reported improvements include a 10% to 20% increase in floor efficiency and a 5% to 10% improvement in product quality.
Customers have also reported recovering between 5% and 10% of labor hours. SiteVue says some facilities have recorded a 90% reduction in safety incidents.
The company also says some customers have achieved a 10x return on investment. These figures are based on company-reported customer results.
Tim Romero, plant manager at Foster Farms, said SiteVue gave his team greater visibility into production-line activity. He said the system helped the team move beyond manual tracking methods to assess safety and productivity.
Beyond real-time monitoring, SiteVue AI provides a visual record of industrial processes.
Its cameras create timestamped footage of products, workstations, and production lines. This allows teams to review an issue and trace it to a specific point in the process.
For example, a quality problem can be linked to a particular station, shift, or production cycle.
Jebasingh said this visibility can reduce the time required to identify the source of a problem.
For manufacturers, faster root-cause analysis can help limit rework, scrap, and potential product recalls. The visual records can also support audits, regulatory requirements, and liability documentation.
SiteVue AI currently focuses on automotive manufacturing and food production. However, the company is expanding into other industrial sectors.
Its target markets include retail, construction, chemical, oil, and gas industries. The company also plans to expand its operations internationally.
SiteVue designs and manufactures its own cameras. It also develops and trains its AI models at its Nashville headquarters.
The company currently has 37 employees and serves customers across the US.
Penny Jar Capital partner Rich Scudellari said industrial companies are looking for technology that addresses specific operational needs rather than generic solutions.
He said SiteVue works directly with customers to develop systems around their business requirements while keeping deployment disruption low.
Overture partner Leila Pirbay also highlighted the company's combination of hardware and software.
According to Pirbay, Jebasingh's previous experience at Meta helped shape SiteVue's approach to making complex hardware easier to use. His later work with enterprise software also contributed to the company's focus on industrial applications.
The new $7.5 million seed round gives SiteVue AI additional capital to expand its technology and reach more industrial customers.
The company is focused on using computer vision and AI to provide real-time operational data. Its expansion into sectors beyond automotive and food production could broaden the use of AI-based monitoring across industrial environments.
For manufacturers and other frontline industries, the approach reflects a wider shift toward using visual data to improve production, safety, quality, and resource management.
