Vietnam-based clean energy fintech startup Stride has raised $15 million in a Series B funding round. The company is headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City.
The funding round was co-led by Lightrock and TRIREC through the Accelerate7 platform. Existing investors Clime Capital and UOB Venture Management also participated in the round.
Stride said it will use the fresh capital to expand its financing platform across Vietnam and enter additional international markets. The company also plans to improve its digital quality assurance systems and broaden access to clean energy solutions for households and small businesses.
Founded to simplify access to rooftop solar financing, Stride operates a digital platform that combines financing services, technical verification tools, and quality assurance processes.
The platform allows residential customers, micro businesses, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to install rooftop solar panels and battery storage systems without upfront investment costs.
In addition, the startup has developed a nationwide installation network in Vietnam. It currently works with more than 75 verified engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) partners.
