France-based Temelion, a startup focused on automating pre-construction processes, has raised €3.2 million in seed funding. The round was led by 360Capital, with support from ISAI Build Venture, SE Ventures, and Kima Ventures. The funding will support the company’s go-to-market strategy and strengthen its reach among French engineering consultancies.
Temelion’s platform is designed to reduce repetitive work for building design engineers by keeping requirements, documents, and deliverables aligned. The system helps speed up bid/no-bid decisions, generate technical documentation, and streamline contractor evaluations.
The company is also developing trade-specific workflows in Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, and Plumbing. These additions aim to provide engineers with a more complete toolkit for delivering projects faster and with greater accuracy.
Founded in 2025 by Jérôme Joaug, Rodolphe Héliot, and Sébastien Gilles, Temelion is led by entrepreneurs with backgrounds in building and investing in growth-focused companies. Their stated mission is to reduce the time engineers spend on repetitive tasks, enabling them to deliver higher-quality outputs at lower costs.
"When we first spoke with engineers, we expected resistance to AI. What we found instead was universal frustration with the hours spent crunching documents — work that none of them signed up for, yet dominates their daily lives," said Jérôme Joaug, Co-founder and CPO of Temelion.
With the new investment, Temelion plans to expand its engineering team, further refine its platform, and roll out commercial operations in France with a focus on building engineering firms. The company will also invest in customer support, onboarding, and integrations with widely used industry tools.
