Visoid, an Oslo-based AI visualisation company for architects and design professionals, has raised €2.16 million ($2.5 million) in new funding.
Skyfall Ventures led the round. Existing backers StartupLab, OBOS and Antler also participated. The round included new investors Farvatn and byFounders Angel Collective.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its team, develop its platform and grow its presence in international markets.
Founded in 2023, Visoid was started by former architect Mark Szoke and serial entrepreneur Joachim Holwech.
The company develops AI tools that turn existing 3D architectural models into visualisations. Its platform is designed to speed up the process without changing the underlying design.
As a result, architects can test different visual concepts without depending on traditional rendering processes for every iteration.
Mark Szoke, CEO of Visoid, said architects have traditionally been slow to change their software workflows. However, he noted that adoption of AI visualisation tools has moved faster than expected.
According to the company, its platform helps architects explore ideas more quickly and communicate designs with clients and other stakeholders.
Visoid is positioning its technology as a tool that supports architects rather than replaces their creative work.
The platform works with existing 3D models and aims to maintain the original design intent. This allows users to experiment with different visual approaches while keeping the underlying project intact.
Joachim Holwech, CPO at Visoid, said architectural AI needs to work within professional design processes. He added that visual quality alone is not enough for architects using AI tools.
The approach reflects a wider shift toward AI tools that integrate with established professional workflows rather than requiring users to start over with new systems.
Visoid said its customer base includes several international architecture firms.
These include OMA, LEO A DALY, Sweco Group and Nordic Office of Architecture.
The company has not disclosed specific customer numbers. However, its existing client base indicates that the platform is being tested across different architectural markets.
Preben Songe-Møller, Partner and co-founder at Skyfall Ventures, said Visoid's founding team combines architecture expertise with experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning.
Visoid currently has nine employees. The company expects to double its workforce by the end of 2026.
The new funding will support hiring across engineering, product and commercial functions.
Besides team expansion, Visoid plans to develop additional AI capabilities for architectural workflows. The company also aims to increase its international customer base and build more partnerships with architecture and design firms.
For Visoid, the next phase will focus on expanding the platform while continuing to integrate AI into existing architectural processes.
